Dear new mom, right now you miss your old self and you feel guilty about it all the time.

Postpartum Therapist in Denver, CO

The truth is, that version of you isn’t gone, she’s evolving. And you deserve space to grieve, reconnect, and redefine who you are now.

I’ve been there. I remember sitting in the dark during those early postpartum days—exhausted, lonely, and wondering if I was the only one who felt so disconnected from herself.

Like you, I thought I just needed to be more grateful, push through, or try harder to feel “normal” again.

But here’s what I discovered: motherhood isn’t meant to be survived alone and struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. Once I stopped trying to shrink myself to fit the role and started honoring who I was becoming, everything shifted. That’s what I now help other women do with compassion, clarity, and a roadmap that actually fits  your life.

You may feel guilty for wanting space to breathe, think, or just be  because you’ve absorbed the message that good mothers sacrifice everything.

If you’re like many of the women I work with, you might be trying to push through the exhaustion, hoping things will get better once the baby sleeps more, the work slows down, or the schedule clears. But healing doesn’t come from pushing yourself past your limits—it comes from honoring your needs with compassion, care and focus.

Every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, and deeply connected to herself, without guilt or shame.

It’s possible to feel strong, confident, and connected in this season of life when you have the right support, tools, and space to grow. My purpose is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, honor your needs, and facilitate your transition to motherhood so you feel grounded, empowered, and whole.

Hi, I’m Stephanie Poole

Licensed clinical social worker and board certified health and wellness coach.

My mission is to support new mothers in reconnecting with their inner strengths and reclaiming their emotional well-being.

My approach is rooted in compassion, practical guidance, and holistic healing. I believe that motherhood doesn’t have to come at the expense of your mental health and well-being.

Rather, it’s about finding a balance where you can prioritize your needs, feel emotionally grounded, and thrive in your new role as a mother.

Why should you trust me? I’ve worked with countless moms who felt overwhelmed, isolated, and uncertain—just like you. Together, we’ve transformed their experience from self-doubt and exhaustion to clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience. I’ve helped women overcome guilt, set healthy boundaries, and find the peace and joy that they deserve without sacrificing themselves in the process.

I used to believe that taking care of everyone else before myself was a badge of honor.

I don’t believe in glorifying burnout.
There was a time I kept pushing,  trying to check all the boxes of what a “good mom” should be: show up for everyone, never complain, bounce back fast.
But I realized: ignoring my needs didn’t make me strong, it made me disappear.

Now, I mother from a different place.
One that’s rooted, intentional, and built on truth, not pressure. Because thriving in motherhood isn’t about doing it all.
It’s about coming home to yourself, and choosing a version of motherhood that includes
you.

It fills me with gratitude to witness the transformation, watching women shift from burnout to balance, from guilt to self-compassion, and begin to trust themselves again.

This is your motherhood, on your own terms and it starts now

Let’s work together to help you reconnect with your inner strength, find peace, and embrace your true worth so you can enjoy motherhood without the overwhelm.
